It's the year 2011 and life has changed much since the ancient times. Advancements in technology, medience, education, and science have skyrocketed, and the Gods have still remained just myths and legends. Athens is one of the oldest cities in the world, and despite the changing views of its people, it still holds its rich history with the temples dedicated to the Gods & Goddesses. Much today, they are simply tourist attractions.[/size][/blockquote]
Up high on Mount Olympus, the Gods have obeyed Zeus' law to avoid any contact with the mortal world below for centuries. In the Underworld, however, Hades has grown restless. Although his job keeps him plenty busy and he has no desire to mingle with the mortals, he can't help but wonder what is happening above. His wife and consort, Persephone, urges him to stay below, not wanting Hades to endure the wraith of Zeus. For a while, Hades complies with her wishes and stays in the Underworld, only able to keep himself rooted there by his job. Springtime finally graces the land of Athens in 2011, and below, Hades is left alone without his wife, who had returned to Mount Olympus to her mother, Detemer until Fall. Temptation ends up being too much of a close friend and so, Hades leaves the Underworld to see what has happened above.
On Mount Olympus, Zeus feels the sudden shift in the mortal world, and only moments later does an Oracle predict what he feared was wrong; Hades had disobeyed and entered the mortal realm. The Oracle also mentions a change, a shift in the mortal realm, odd events that only the gods could effect...
