She loved to play especially when she had a day like this, watching her brother and sister leave with what they have to call a father broke her heart. The tears shimmer in her brothers emerald green eyes, which were identical to hers really sealed the deal for her she couldn’t help but let her eyes fill up with tears at the memory of the her brother’s heart broken face. Shaking off her tears she began to play a simple, little melody which spiked an inspiration in her soul, pulling a worn, drawn on note book out of her bright blue zebra striped backpack she began to write the words swirling around in her head, letting her messy cursive filling the page. ------------------------ Frustrated she threw the note book down, hitting the ground with a loud thud, she pinched the bridge of her nose between her forefinger and thumb; something wasn’t right. Whether it was the words or the melody, Dez couldn’t tell but she was determined to finish the song by today. She needed to play this at the Camp Fire Jam, but she wouldn’t do that unless she knew it was perfect. After writing and re-writing Dez just couldn’t get it right, letting out a frustrated sigh she slammed her fist down hard on the keys. "Ugh! I will never get this done in time!"Dez exclaimed loudly into what she thought was an empty room. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - STATUS: Active TAGGED: Katherine WORDS: 254 LYRICS: B.O.B. & Hayley Williams NOTES: outfit CREDITS: Thanks to BUNNYA at Caution 2.0

Kat walked around the camp for a few moments confused out of her mind. She had no idea where everyone had gone at the moment. Nevevah was no where incite, but she seemed to be missing in action a lot lately, then when the girl was around she would never tell her what she had been up to. It frustrated Kat down to the core, but she decided to ignore it for now, and well her sisters were probably off with Caitlyn learning a dance some where. It was one of the only times she had actually been left alone, not by choice, at Camp rock. The seventeen year old ran a hand through her dark hair and looked around the place, hoping to run into someone at least. Today, she was in no mood to be alone. She walked on for a while passing the lake and the kitchens and still no one she interested in hanging around with were around. She tried to find them and searched every where, but it seemed like most everyone had decided to disappear on her.
She ran a hand through her hair as she came upon the practice room and figured to try there next. There was no other place they could be and it was really irritating her no knowing where her friends were. Kat walked for a moment, until she reached the steps to the practice room and pushed open the door quietly, just in case someone was working on something. She stepped inside and noticed on of her friends Dez at the piano. Kat smiled at the girl at she played, but when she hit the piano in anger she gave her a questionable look. "Dezzy. don't hurt the piano, it looks ancient." Kat told her with her usual Kitty smile. She was Silly one most of the time. "What are you working on?" Kat asked her friend as she walked over and sat next to her.

Destiny smiled slightly as she heard her best friend’s voice float through the small room. Running her fingers through her hair long golden mane she greeted her with a small wave. “Dezzy, don't hurt the piano, it looks ancient." She chuckled and gave her a half smile back at her. "Don’t worry I won’t Kat, well, I won’t do it on purpose anyways."
"What are you working on?" Dezzy sighed looking up at her best friend her big blue eyes tired and confused, Kat walked over to her sat next to her watching her best friend in despair.
“I’m supposed to be writing a song to sing for Camp Fire Jam next week.” Dezzy rested her head gently on the ivory keys her golden waves falling all around her bright blue eyes fluttering shut. “But as you can see that’s not going very well at all.”
Running a hand through her light sandy color locks Dez was torn between two options. Option 1: Ask Kat for something she’s never asked anyone for help on a song. Option 2: Not sing camp fire jam which she had to do in order to practice for final Jam.
Swallowing her pride Dez took a deep breath and lifted her head up off the piano brushing her sandy ringlets back from her face fixing her bangs she looked Kat right in the eyes as she asked. “Kat, I need your help, will you please help me with the song Camp Fire Jam? I’m desperate, Please?” W O R D S;; 251! T A G;; Kat! N O T E S;; outfit! C R E D I T;; hey it's SHMEY! @ caution 2.0

Kat smiled to herself as she watched her friend work on the song before her. She knew the girl was in immense pressure trying to finish this song for the camp fire jam tonight and wanted to help her. Katherine had already finished hers a while ago, it was something different that she had been wanting to try for a while. She was over how pop rock she sounded, and wanted to sing about something that mattered, so instead of picking one of her own songs that she had written she had decided to go with a classic old school rock song that was sure to knock people off of their feet. It was hard to be confidant about her own accomplishment when her friend was in such dire need so she decided to focus all of her attention on Dez at the moment. It wasn't a hard thing to do Kat always seemed to think of others before she thought of herself it was in her nature. It's what had landed her into being at this camp in the first place.
Kat tried to think of a way she could possibly help her friend with this song, what she had been playing so far sounded absolutely beautiful, but she didn't want to push her into doing anything she wasn't comfortable with playing. The seventeen year old thought for a moment on the situation before nodding in agreement. "Sure, I'll help you it'll be my pleasure." She said with one of her thousand Wat smiles, before placing her hands over the keys and playing for a moment a random tune. She didn't know how exactly she was going to help Dez with this, but she would give it her best shot at whatever it was she needed help with. It wasn't hard to make up lyrics, you could write a song about anything.
That's when the idea hit her right on the head, she defiantly was going to tell her how to do this thing... well not tell her exactly but a little advice couldn't hurt. Kat stopped her noodling on the piano keys and turned to her friend with a smile. "Ok hit me with it, what is the song going to be about?" She asked her with a smile. This was going to be one of the fun things she did with Dez that they were going to end up laughing about years from now, whether the song came out good or bad.
