Caitlyn's computer blasted her music as her feet moved to the frantic rhythm smoothly. Dancing had just come easily to her and the second she actually started trying, she had fallen in love with it. Both her parent disproved it, but she just kept going because it was in her heart. Besides, they weren't around enough to get a say in what she wanted to do in her life. Camp Rock was her favorite place on the planet. She could be herself, the Caitlyn she wanted to be here. The song stopped and moved into The Anthem by Good Charlotte. She walked over to the speakers and switched it off, taking a sip of the water bottle she had sitting next to it. This year she had been really stepping up her game. The new kid Moose was just a new kid trying to show off and she wasn't going to let him knock her out of her spot as best dancer no way, no how. Sure he had been good but those were moves everyone knew and everyone saw, she wanted to give people a new side of hip hop and an edgier Caitlyn. Whenever challenges arose to her, she took them down. No one could stop her. She nodded firmly to herself, turning the music back on and starting the routine over. In her haste to do better, she caught her toe and fell forward, throwing her arms in front of herself to slow the fall. She winced as the movement stopped and gingerly pushed herself into a sitting position, making sure nothing was broken. It didn't seem like anything was, she was just a bit sore and had floor burns on her knees. Nothing she couldn't work around. She jumped as the door opened, smiling at the person who entered and standing up to greet Peggy. routine

Peggy sat on her bed her fingers gliding across the keys on her laptop as she typed out a reply to her fathers e-mail. She didn't actually feel like doing much else at the moment, it was better than walking around and potentially running into Justin who would hit on her or Steven who she would probably get into another fight with and she didn't think she could deal with that right now. The only Caldwell who didn't drive her crazy at the moment was Moose and even he had picked up that jerk trait they seemed to all carry at some point. Peggy rolled her eyes at the thought of the guys in her life and shook her head. They were all immature idiots who needed to grow up, but for now there was nothing she could do about it. A sigh escaped the girls lips as she finished her letter to her father and sent it off before closing her laptop.
The seventeen year old got p from her bed a ran a hand through her dark hair. for just a moment as she tried to figure out what she was going to do now. She needed a distraction that wasn't irritating and she needed one quick, before she thought a bit too much about things. She grabbed her bag from the side of her bed and slipped on some shoes before heading out of her Cabin. Peggy walked around camp rock for a short while as she thought to herself. A Few people she passed tried to gain her attention, but she waved them off deciding she wasn't in the mood to talk to anyone who wasn't that good of a friend. Sure people knew her around camp, but they were only acquaintances and wouldn't really understand her as much as a friend like Ella, who had her slow moments, but was incredibly understanding would.
After a while Peggy grew bored of just walking around and headed over to the practice buildings hoping to find someone interesting to be distracted by. She was there in no time and herd music coming from the building. Just as she opened the main door, she saw Caitlyn sitting on the ground. Peggy stepped inside and gave her a smile as the other girl got up to greet her. Before all the stupid Tess drama they were actually pretty good friends, and still were. Peggy set her bag by the door. "Hey Caitlyn. Need some company?" She asked the girl with a smile.

Caitlyn smiled at her friend. "Company is never turned away." She said walking over to close out of all the windows on her lap top. "How have things been going for you?" She asked brushing her wild curls out of her face.
Sure, Caitlyn didn't exactly like some of the people Peggy hung out with, Peggy was still nice and they had remained friends, so it wasn't like Caitlyn really had anything against the other girl, so long as Peggy didn't bring Tess around and ask them to be all chummy, things were fine.
Caitlyn sat down in the middle of the floor, water bottle in her lap and patted the space next to her. Maybe she didn't get along with Peggy's friends, but that was because she could care less if she was popular or not. All the popularity stuff was just a load of bull in Caitlyn's opinion. She hated it, especially after coming from a family who thrived off of it to make money. Same as at the boarding school, you weren't popular and no one would talk to you, not that Caitlyn cared. If they didn't want to talk to her it was their loss and she had her friends in the states who liked her for who she was.
At least, that was what she put out. Sometimes it was so damn hard and hurt so damn bad that she just hated all of it. Wanted to cave in and be like them, the people that actually fit in. Get some friends even if they didn't care about her or what she liked, just that she had a lot of money and made them look good if they hung out with her. Life as so confusing sometimes.

Peggy ran her hand through her hair as she watched Caitlyn and sat her stuff down by the door. She had no real idea why she had come into the practice building, but she needed someone to talk to. The more she looked at the Caitlyn the more she realized how she used to trust her with a lot of things a long time ago before Tess drama, almost destroyed their friendship. There was no way she would ever go to tess with her problems, she would probably only think of a reason to either tease her about her petty problems, or steal her boyfriend and Peggy was in no mood for wither one of those things to happen.
A sigh escaped her lips as she went ans sat next to Caitlyn on the ground of the Practice building. She thought a moment about the question the girl had asked her and wondered for a moment if she should tell her what was really going on with her or just lie like she usually did. Sure she had Ella to tell her problems to, the girl was her best friend, but there were some things that Ella really didn't understand, or that she didn't get. "I'm pretty good, just dealing with Tess drama, but I'm glad to be back, I missed this place." Peggy said fondly a smile on her face.
The seventeen year old glanced over at Caitlyn for a moment and noticed her scrapped up knees and how sweaty she was. She looked as if she had been practicing hard. Then she remembered moose and rolled her eyes. He was being a cocky bastard lately and the way Tess had been going on and on about how talented he was and how he should be a backup dancer for their 'Group' if you might actually call it that and Peggy rolled her eyes. "You shouldn't let him get to you, ya know?" Peggy said giving Caitlyn a pointed look. "I've known moose a while, he's a good guy, just and Idiot sometimes and Tess has a big mouth, you're like the best dancer here trust me." She said giving Caitlyn a smile. Sometimes knowing everything about everyone was a pain, but when it came to friends and well black mail it was helpful.

Caitlyn rolled her eyes, dripping water onto the scrapes on her knee carefully. "When isn't there drama with Tess? Why do you even put up with it anymore Peggy?" She asked softly, looking at her friend. Peggy didn't deserve that, she deserved a ton better than that and she hoped her friend knew it.
"Believe me, I did too. It's hell being at a boarding school." Caitlyn said, her nose scrunching up with distaste thinking about the lovely place where she unfortunately was forced to spend more than two thirds of her year at. She didn't get why she couldn't just go to a school stateside, but no her parents had to overdo it and send their precious baby girl overseas to an elite young ladies school.
Caitlyn blushed lightly, she should have known that Peggy would see right through her. She ducked her head, happy at the compliment but embarrassed at being called out on it. She couldn't help being so competitive, she just didn't want someone else to knock her out of her spot as best dancer. "Thanks Peggy, but I want to settle it fair and square and show the whole camp that I really am better and that they need to stop believing everything Tess says." She smirked, "Besides, he needs someone to put him back in his place."
A small burst of laughter erupted from her lips. She had missed being with Peggy and just mouthing off about everything. They could tell each other whatever and know it would never be held over their head or released to the whole camp. Secrets were secrets and they knew how to respect it. She just wished that Peggy would stop hanging around Tess. The girl was no good.

Peggy rolled her eyes at her own stupidity, it was an old habit hanging around Tess, that was hard to break. The girl had power and Peggy could take her down easily with a few secrets she knew about the girl, but chose to keep silent until absolutely necessary. Plus if she left, Ella would leave and then Tess would have no one to be with, and no one deserved to not have friends. Plus Tess wasn't that bad when it came to some things, she wasn't that big of a pain in the ass compared to some girls that Peggy had met at the camp. "She's not that horrible, plus I can handle Tess." She said confidently with a smile. "Plus have you seen her cousin, and his blue eyes? so cute." She said rolling her eyes for just a moment a smile on her lips.
When she finished laughing she gave Caitlyn a smile and listened to her as she briefly spoke about boarding school. Peggy was sure if her parents had ever decided to send her to an all girls school she would run away and hop the New Flight to New York the moment the plane touched down. There was no way living with a whole bunch of girls with no male company was on her list of things she would allow to happen to her that was just cruel and unusual punishment. "If you hate the school so much why don't you get yourself kicked out and sent to a different one, preferably one that allows hot guys." Peggy said mostly jokingly.
Peggy smiled as she listened to Caitlyn go on about how basically she was going to kick moose's ass on the dance floor and there was nothing he could do about it, and smiled. She missed hanging out and having fun with Caitlyn, it was good to do it again. Even if she was talking about her boyfriends little brother. Peggy ran a hand through her hair as she frowned bringing her thoughts back to that mess, she should have known Caldwell boys were nothing, but trouble. "He already has someone to put him in his place, don't know why he hasn't yet, but there is no doubt in my mind that you are going to beat him,... and probably steal his heart doing it." Peggy muttered that last part under her breath and rolled her eyes at her own stupidity once again. She should not have said that. "Can I tell you something, secret?" She asked her.

"He's alright, for a Tyler I guess." She said laughing. Sure Tess wasn't always that bad, but when she felt threatened as she had with Caitlyn she was horrible. I guess she didn't feel threatened by Peggy and Caitlyn was happy for that. If Peggy left so would Ella and Tess would be alone for a bit which no one deserved. Not even Tess.
Caitlyn had tried many times to get kicked out, but this school just wouldn't have it. Apparently her parents were paying a boat load to keep her in school there. "I've tried everything, they just won't let me go! But hey, free weekends on the town plus I bribed a custodian to let me sneak out." She said laughing. It was all so fun, sneaking out to meet with various guys. They never really did anything, just messed around until they absolutely had to go. She loved it all, she always had a blast on nights like that. They were the only high light of her otherwise miserable school.
"Hm?" She asked, wondering what Peggy had mumbled. "Yes, that person would be me because no one else will. You can't say I'll for sure beat him, there's always a chance..." She said trailing off. She chewed on her lip, thinking how the hell would she be able to beat him by a long shot. She'd seen him he was good, showy, but good. She could handle that though. She knew how to dance. Unlike some people she had taken classes, sticking with her mother's if you're going to learn something, learn it right policy.
Caitlyn looked at Peggy, her eyes full of questions. "Yea, of course you can Peg!" She said grinning at her friend. This was nice, to have girl time like this with someone she genuinely liked as a friend. Cait loved being in on secrets, it always made her feel so loved, connected, but she would never ever hold it over anyone's head. Ever. That was below low. Only scum of the Earth did that.
