Caitlyn was incredibly bored. It was raining and had been all day, so she found herself laying upside down on the couch in the rec center playing Mario Kart. Certainly not how she had planned to spend her day, but her laptop had needed to be charged and she didn't want to drag all of that here nor did she have any urge whatsoever to stay in her cabin all day.

Her converse clad feet waved through the air as she got more and more into the game. "Noo!" She groaned as she lost the race and she pouted momentarily before starting a new race. This game was so, so fun and so, so addicting.

This morning she had actually gone so far in her boredom as to actually straighten her hair. It was pin straight and felt.. Odd. She barely recognized herself when she had looked in the mirror after. But no matter how her hair looked, her zany sense of style remained the same. She zone out for a moment, forgetting she was playing the game and groaned when she once again lost.

A weight on the side of the couch alerted her to someone else's presence. She paused the gain and grinned up at them from her backwards position on the couch before resuming her game and finally winning. "Yes!" She cheered, laughing as she finally won.

Andrea woke up to the rain pounding on her window. Her roommate Caitlyn was already up and in the shower. She really wanted to go back to sleep so she closed her eyes again hoping to get about 20 more minutes. When she woke up again it was an hour later, and her roommate was gone. She slowly got out of bed and moved to the showers.

After she got out of the showers on this rainy day, she was going to go look for Caitlyn. Annie quickly dressed in a pair of jeans, and a comfy t-shirt. She would usually just slip on her pair of flip - flops, but since it was raining she put on her sneakers, so her feet wouldn't get wet. She was always doing something interesting and exciting. Annie was going to look in the music area first. Caitlyn was usually doing something music related. When she looked everywhere, and still couldn't find Annie decided to look in the Rec Center. Of course, Caitlyn was at the last place Annie thought to look.

She walked into the room and say Caitlyn sitting upside down on the couch playing Mario Kart. Annie went and sat on the other side of her. Once she finished her game Annie said," Hey Roommate. How is the world doing upside down?" Annie laughed, "Have you been playing Mario Kart since you got up?" Annie looked at the controller and then back at the screen. She hasn't played Mario Kart for a very long time, but last time she was pretty good at it. " You want to race? I bet you a candy bar that I will win."

In a way, lazy days weren't so bad for Shane. They came around so rarely that actually possessing one was a miracle. At first, the thing that Shane hadn't wanted to do most with his day was just sit around. But he figured he wouldn't have another one of these days any time soon so why not actually do something with his day besides sleep in until eleven o'clock- which is exactly what he had done.

Shane pulled himself out of bed and to the shower, dousing himself in water for a good ten minutes to wake him up a little bit. After doing his regular routine, Shane headed over to the dining hall. Of course, when he got there they were no longer serving breakfast. Great, guess he'd have to wait two hours for lunch. You see, this is what being in a camp did to him. It made him starve, and then when he did finally eat it was a bunch of bad food. It was ridiculous.

After wandering around for a little while, Shane finally found himself at the Rec Center. Inside a girl he recognized as Caitlyn- though not at first because her hair was straightened- was inside with some other hot chic. Oddly, Caitlyn also looked kinda, well, pretty. He sauntred inside and threw his wet sweatshirt on the floor, then picked up a third controller from the floor. "Put it on mulit-player," he commanded without even a hello.

"The world is amazing upside down Annie." Caitlyn said grinning as the blood kept rushing to her head. She laughed and handed a controller to Annie, "Yes, candy bar you shall be mine!" She said cackling before dissolving into a fit of giggles. She had missed being with people, she struggled without them really.

"Gross, Shane pick up your shirt." She said raising an eyebrow at him from her upside down position. They had gone to camp together for awhile now and had had a few classes together, but they weren't best friends by any means even though she loved him deep down in a totally friend sort of way. She flicked his head.

"Not if you're gonna talk to me like that Shaney." She cooed in a mock blond gold digger bitch voice before laughing and switching the game to multiplayer. "Whoever wins gets a candy bar from each of the losers. It'll be amazing to watch Shane surrender his candy to me." She said smirking before starting the race and biting down on her tongue, determined to win and get two candy bars. That was exactly what the world needed, Caitlyn stuck inside on a rainy day full of sugar.

Since it was raining and she was done helping her mom with washing the dishes from the breakfast that they served which to her was a lot of dishes that needed to be washed. Mitchie's mom told her that she should go and do something with one of her friends. So Mitchie walked out of the kitchen and into the rainy day. She pulled up her purple sweatshirt as she just walked around before she found her self going into the recreation center. When she walked in though Mitchie thought what in the world is going on? As she saw Shane, Caitlyn, and Andrea surround one of televisions playing what looked like to her a videogame.

She heard Catilyn say that who ever loses gives the winner a candy bar. She put on a small smile on her face as she walked over to them and said "Hi have room for one more?" As she smiled at the three of them wondering if they do have room for one more to play before grabbing a remote her self.

Annie laughed. "Yeah like you are going to get a candy bar from me. I am going to win and you know it." She grabbed the controller and was ready to beat caitlyn when Shane Gray walked in.

Annie let her mouth drop, and didn't know what to say. Yes, she has seen them around camp, but she has never actually talked to him or meet him or even sat next to him. "This is your change Annie. Talk to him." Annie thought. She couldn't get herself to actually say anything. She elbowed Caitlyn hoping she could help in her moment of silence.

The door opened again, this time it was Mitche that walked in. "Hey Mitche. Come play with us. Whoever wins gets a candybar from the loser." Anne said. She got really mad at herself. "Wow, so I can talk to Mitche but not Shane. I hate my mind." Annie thought.

Caitlyn grinned and nodded at Mitchie, starting the whole game over. "Yes Mitch, you may join but you have to join the bet as well." She said grinning like an imp as more and more blood rushed up to her head, her face now a lovely red color. "Winner gets a candy bar from all the losers. Also, if Shane's rude... Ignore him. Pop princess is pissed it's raining and messing up his nice straight hair." She giggled before changing it so everyone could pick their characters.

Caitlyn wasn't mean unless you provoked her, but isn't that how everyone is? She just doesn't know how to control her tongue when someone gets under her nerves. Shane, when he was like this, happened to be one of those things that got deep, deep under her skin. She hated when he acted like this because she had seen him at the camp before he was famous. When he was a nice guy here just because he loved music and she wished he would go back to that. fame shouldn't let you forget the little people who made you big.

She shook her hair out of her face. Looking from Shane and then to Mitchie. They would be adorable together, she couldn't help but think. If only she could get Shane to get over his ego and Mitchie over being starstruck. Celebrities were just every day people who do stupid things, have lots of money, and are at least semi decent looking. No biggie. Caitlyn hated when people freaked over people famous. She knew she wouldn't appreciate it if someone walked up to her on the street and just screamed at her. In fact, it would piss her off greatly.

Shane smiled, letting some of his white teeth shine for the group. "You are not getting a candy bar from me today," he said, winking at Caitlyn. She was one of the few people at camp who wasn't starstruck avery time they saw him just walking around. Honestly, he couldn't even go grab a hot dog without having a crowd follow him. It'd be nice to actually have someone who wasn't so impressed with him as a make-out buddy, like Caitlyn. But he couldn't think of her in that way. Gross. Even if she did look really nice today, it wasn't like he was going to lean over and kiss her in the middle of their game.

And then in walked reason number two why he shouldn't be getting worked up about Caitlyn. Because of that girl. Mitchie. And the wonderful voice he'd heard. It was one of the first times he'd actually seen her around camp besides a couple fleeting glances. Now this girl was beautiful, he couldn't help but notice, and when she walked in he scooted over, making Luigi fall of the edge of Rainbow Road due to the distraction. He smiled up at her. "Hey, Mitchie, right? Kind of a guy name, but it's cool. Pop a squat." A guy name? What had he been thinking saying that. Probably, he hadn't been thinking at all. As usual.

Just then, Shane noticed the girl was sitting on the far side of the couch. Damn, she was hot, too. It was too many pretty girls in one room for just one guy. She was staring at him, though, and he figured she was just another starstruck little brat. He cooled himself down for a second. He couldn't say that without even getting to know her. What kind of a person was he turning into? He turned to the girl and stuck out his hand across Mitchie's lap, his hand brushing against her arm. "I'm Shane," he told the new girl. "Sorry I didn't get to introduce myself, but I don't know your name either. It's odd, I haven't seen you around camp. Usually I would notice someone so beautiful." He gave her a smile and pulled back his hand. Thinking to himself, he realized this could be a way to get Mitchie a little jealous if he wanted. And jealous girls were always hotter. This could be fun.

OOC: Sorry Shane is being quite the horn-dog today. ^.^

Mitchie smiled at Caitlyn as she said "Thanks Caitlyn." then she smiled at Andrea and said "That's cool. And no one is going to win against me maybe." She then looked down some as she moved some of her hair out of her face. When she did though she heard Shane say "Hey, Mitchie, right? Kind of a guy name, but it's cool. Pop a squat." She looked over at him through the top of her eyelashes as she said "Yeah it is my parents really wanted a guy but they got me instead and they just thought that I looked like a Mitchie. Well at least I think they wanted a boy I don't really know all I know is that my parents thought that I looked like a Mitchie so that is what they named me." After she said that Mitchie thought Oh great Mitchie you sound like a total loser after you said that!

She then looked down at the ground again before she looked up and saw that Caitlyn restarted the game so that she could play. She looked at the people that you could play as she picked the mushroom dude since she liked him and hey he was a little bit more easier to play for her. She waited for the others to pick their people. When Shane took his hand across from her she felt a little blush coming up on her because his fingers brushed against her arm.

Annie couldn't believe what Shane just told her. "Breathe. He is just being nice. Stay calm." Annie thought. She knew how much celebrates hated meeting people all over them. Annie keep telling herself to stay calm and act cool. She got out of her gaze and finally had the guts to say something. "I'm Andrea, but call me Annie. I'm Caitlyn's roommate. There is no real reason to introduce yourself. I think we all know who you are." She told Shane. After having the words spill out of her mouth, she thought about how lame they kind of sounded.

Noticing that everyone was picking their player, she picked the Yoshi guy. She liked to play him because the car that he had was the easiest for Annie to play.

After picking the course, Annie was ready for the competition to begin. "Are you guys ready to owe me a candy bar? You should just give it to me now, because I know I'm going to win." Annie put her game face on and was ready to play. Once everyone picked who they were going to play, she told Caitlyn, "Pick the course already."
