Midnight was the hour, everything around the camp was completely silent, except for the crickets chirping throughout the darkness of the night. Curfew had long passed for the campers, while the counselors had just returned from the woods and gone to bed a while ago after one of their secret parties, that of course everyone had herd about by now. Seventeen year old Katherine Hunter sat in her dorm running her fingers through her hair for just a moment lost in deep thought. She had no idea why she wasn't able to sleep, it usually wasn't hard for her to fall asleep, but tonight was different. Almost as if something bad was going to happen. She didn't know what it was or how it was going to happen she just knew something felt wrong. A loud grumble interrupted from her stomach as she sat their and Katherine rolled her eyes at her stomachs rather rude request for food.
She quickly glanced at the clock on her night stand and frowned a bit noticing the lateness of the hour. 12:30 am, the clock flashed in bright red letters, but Kat ignored it and climbed out of bed anyway. Her bare foot touched the cold hardwood floor of the cabin and a chill ran down her spine. The seventeen year old quickly slipped her feat into the ridiculous looking bunny slippers and grabbed the only other thing she had kept of Monroe's, her best friend who had manged to tag along with them to camp rock, the old blue jacket he'd letter have after she barfed at six flags nearly a year ago, and slipped it around her shoulders before zipping the baggy thing up. Malina glanced around to see if she had woken her other roommate and sighed in relief when she had not. She slipped out of the room as quietly as possible and headed down to the kitchen for a little ice cream.
She snuck through the camp as quietly as humanly possible and reached the kitchen in no time. She ran her hand over the granite counter, before finally reaching the fridge, a small smile gracing her lips. She quickly pulled open the freezer side of it and pulled out a giant tub of ice cream, setting it carefully on the counter and shutting the door once again. She carefully opened a cabinets and pulled out a bowl and a large spoon before getting herself a few scoops of Strawberry and Vanilla swirled ice cream. a smile lit her lips as she she place the lid back onto the ice cream tub and quietly put it back in the freezer. She picked up the bowl leaving the spoon where it was and opened the microwave zapping the ice cream for a few seconds while she cleaned any of the mess she made. It was a habit, if she was going to eat ice cream, it had to be a bit melted, that was the only way to it. She stopped the microwave before t could beep and took the ice cream out, and setting it on the counter. She picked up the spoon and began to eat.

It was kind of nice that Neveah had a room to herself until more campers came too camp since it was only the beginning of summer there was bound to many more people to arrive. A small sigh broke through the girls lips it was late at night yet she wasn't tired and had nothing to do, strange how things like that happen at the weirdest of time's. So far to past the time she has read some of her book, played a little guitar and tried writing a song. Writing at this hour doesn't really work because you mind is really all there and you start writing down stupid stuff so Neveah just stopped before she got herself frustrated. Laying in bed wasn't really her ideal way to spend the time she had but she was probably going to be bitchy tomorrow even though Neveah usually just generally acted like a bitch. She was raised with parents that spoiled her and one thing she was loved was money and she was getting it every month which she enjoyed. The fact that she was at the camp with bugs, wild life, and bad humidity that frizzes her hair all the time was another story, Neveah honestly didn't want to come here but her dad need a "break" and "time to clear his head" about the divorce. Well knowing her dad she knew that that was the last thing he was doing, he was a guy he was probably trying to get another girl so he wouldn't die alone.
Neveah pulled the fabric off that was covering her legs revealing her short pajama shorts that her a pastel color blue and pastel pink tank top. She slipped on her fuzzy slippers and looked around the cabin which was pretty quiet and looks quite empty since she was the only living in it at the moment. Neveah had a strong craving for something, something that her stomach wanted even though she wasn't really all that hungry but when food called out to her it didn't really matter and it was one of those craving's that you didn't know what it belonged to unless you see it or smell it. Where was she able to get food? the kitchen. But that was across camp and all the bigs were out and not to mention what the humidity would do to her hair, it was wild enough already with its out of control curls. Well Neveah would just have to suck wouldn't she? if she really wanted food.
As she walked across the camp making sure she wouldn't get caught by any of the staff even though it wouldn't really matter. SO what she would get into a little trouble, not the worst thing she has every done. Plus how much trouble could Neveah get into for sneaking out past curfew to get some food. Once she reached the door of the kitchen she placed her ear to the door seeing just in case if there was any disturbance in the building, she heard nothing so she opened the door slowly. Neveah opened the door to see katherine standing behind the counter she couldn't help but jump just a little bit think that she would be alone. Katherin was a pretty good friend of her's at this camp but it was only a camp thing if they were ever living in the same town Neveah wouldn't be caught dead hanging out with her but she wouldn't say that to girls face. Well she would but that would defeat the perpose of making her her friend. "Geez! I didn't think anyone would be in here, obviously i am not the only one who get's the late night munchies" Neveah said as she placed a smile on her face. She walked over to the counter and stood across from the female who was quite smaller then her, one thing about Neveah was that she was tall standing at five, eleven your not really considered small. "Anyways why are you up so late?" Neveah asked, but there was probably an obvious answer for that question but Neveah was trying to make small talk which hasn't really done since she got here at camp. Well she started small talk but not nice small talk.

Kat stood in the kitchen for a while since she had last entered and ate slowly the ice cream in her bowl. She wasn't as hungry as she had been when she had entered the place to begin with it wasn't the first time this had happened however. Insomnia always happened to Katherine whenever she slept in any place besides her bed. It made her restless knowing that she wasn't going to wake up in the morning and see her parents, and eat breakfast at the dinner table. Those feelings combined with the ones of being terrified of the woods were enough to put her off coming to this camp in the first place. She hadn't wanted to in the beginning, and still she had her apprehensions about it. Back home in Texas, she was pretty, popular, and everyone liked her, not to mention her hair was always perfect. At Camp rock however, she was still pretty and popular, but her hair had been more frizzy then it ever had been, she'd spent way less times with her sisters then she would have if they had been back home, and aside from the fact that her best friend was with her, she wasn't having as much fun as she would have liked.
A sigh escaped Katherine's mouth as she let her mind wander onto the events of the last few days she had been there, and although she’d met a few nice friends and some not so nice ones she still wanted to go back home more than anything. In Texas she was safe, she had everything, a large house, lots of money and the best friends any girl could ask for, it was home. There was no way that Katherine was going to be satisfied with just being here. Katherine was talented, sweet, silly, and fun to hang around with that much everyone was aware of, most everyone liked her, she was always willing to help those who needed it, but in her mind it didn’t seem like enough here. At camp rock everyone was talented and had their own reason as to why they were here, she was dragged here by her sisters and little brother who knew what they wanted to get out of this experience, she on the other hand had not figured that out yet, it was a mystery in its self as to why she had even agreed to come a long way from Dallas to Canada. Was it just to please her siblings or was it something more than that. Kat ran a hand through her hair for just a moment as she scooped up a bit of melted ice cream and ate it silently. There was nothing she could do about it now… except beg her dada to come home, but he would only drag the rest of her siblings home along with her and she didn’t want that.
The seventeen year old was so rapped up in her own thoughts she hadn’t noticed someone else enter the kitchen until a familiar country voice broke through her ear drums. Geez! I didn't think anyone would be in here, obviously i am not the only one who get's the late night munchies. Neveah spoke up and Kat resisted the urge to roll her eyes. Yes Neveah was a good friend of hers here at camp, but the girl was a tad over dramatic when it came to things and this was no exception. Neveah was your typical rich girl, cheerleader type that was for sure the moment Kat had met her, with her blond hair, long legs and flawless skin, and yet Kat still made friends with her, even after she had herd about her tendency to bitch at people when she didn’t get her way, and her tendency to well, be a bitch. After a few hours hanging around with the girl she could tell she was not only an only child, but a bitch as well, but she wasn’t someone Katherine couldn’t handle or be intimidated by, Katharine had dealt with worse people and Neveah wasn’t bad, just bitchy and spoiled, she didn’t think the girl could last five seconds if she was forced to live with the Hunter family, with three other siblings, two who look almost exactly like you, you don’t get the most attention… unless you’re the youngest , and although Kat was the youngest triplet her brother was the youngest and he got twice as much attention as she did, and most of it was from her, herself. Anyways why are you up so late? Neveah asked of her.
Katherine gave the girl across from her a smile and motioned to her ice cream. ‘obviously eating, and thinking what else am I supposed to do besides sleep at …’ Katherine thought to herself and pulled her phone out of her side pajama pocket to look at the time. ’12:45 in the morning?’ she finished her thought and closed her phone setting it down on the counter, beside her bowl, before finally answering. “Oh I was Skiing down mount Everest, and I felt like ice cream” Kat told her sarcasm sinking through her voice as she gave the girl a pointed look and laughed a bit. “Couldn’t sleep, I was actually about to call best friend, wake him up and tell him to come join me for some ice cream, but now since you’re here I guess I don’t have to.” Kat explained hugging the jacket around herself for a moment before taking another bit of her ice cream.
