Midnight was the hour, everything around the camp was completely silent, except for the crickets chirping throughout the darkness of the night. Curfew had long passed for the campers, while the counselors had just returned from the woods and gone to bed a while ago after one of their secret parties, that of course everyone had herd about by now. Seventeen year old Katherine Hunter sat in her dorm running her fingers through her hair for just a moment lost in deep thought. She had no idea why she wasn't able to sleep, it usually wasn't hard for her to fall asleep, but tonight was different. Almost as if something bad was going to happen. She didn't know what it was or how it was going to happen she just knew something felt wrong. A loud grumble interrupted from her stomach as she sat their and Katherine rolled her eyes at her stomachs rather rude request for food.
She quickly glanced at the clock on her night stand and frowned a bit noticing the lateness of the hour. 12:30 am, the clock flashed in bright red letters, but Kat ignored it and climbed out of bed anyway. Her bare foot touched the cold hardwood floor of the cabin and a chill ran down her spine. The seventeen year old quickly slipped her feat into the ridiculous looking bunny slippers and grabbed the only other thing she had kept of Monroe's, her best friend who had manged to tag along with them to camp rock, the old blue jacket he'd letter have after she barfed at six flags nearly a year ago, and slipped it around her shoulders before zipping the baggy thing up. Malina glanced around to see if she had woken her other roommate and sighed in relief when she had not. She slipped out of the room as quietly as possible and headed down to the kitchen for a little ice cream.
She snuck through the camp as quietly as humanly possible and reached the kitchen in no time. She ran her hand over the granite counter, before finally reaching the fridge, a small smile gracing her lips. She quickly pulled open the freezer side of it and pulled out a giant tub of ice cream, setting it carefully on the counter and shutting the door once again. She carefully opened a cabinets and pulled out a bowl and a large spoon before getting herself a few scoops of Strawberry and Vanilla swirled ice cream. a smile lit her lips as she she place the lid back onto the ice cream tub and quietly put it back in the freezer. She picked up the bowl leaving the spoon where it was and opened the microwave zapping the ice cream for a few seconds while she cleaned any of the mess she made. It was a habit, if she was going to eat ice cream, it had to be a bit melted, that was the only way to it. She stopped the microwave before t could beep and took the ice cream out, and setting it on the counter. She picked up the spoon and began to eat.
